    Preliminary Description:

0-26 cm: soupy light olive gray (2.5Y 5/4) silty mud with sparse mm-thick pebbles. A clast 1cm thick at 21 cm. Sand fraction and pebbles increase from 22 cm to  the bottom section. Olive brown (2.5Y 4/3) silty sand lamina at 22-23 cm.

26-37 cm: light olive gray (2.5Y 5/4) silty sand with sparse pebbles (thick sub-cm to cm). Gravel fraction increases between  34.3 to 37 cm (color sediment: olive brown -2.5Y 4/3).  Lower sharp contact.

37-40 cm: light olive gray (2,5Y 5/3) mud with sparse mm-thick pebbles. Lower sharp contact.

40-80 cm: light olive gray (2,5Y 5/3) silty mud with sub-cm to cm-thick pebbles and many mm to cm olive brown (2.5Y 4/4) patches, more concentrated between 40 and 46 cm and between 51 and 69 cm. Mud chips mm-thick are present at 32-36 cm and a 2 cm thick friable mud clast is present at 77-79 cm. Lower gradational contact.

80-92 cm: hydrated light olive gray (2,5Y 5/3) silty sand to sandy silt with black mm-thick clasts. Lower irregular sharp contact.

92-103/108 cm: light olive gray (2,5Y 5/6) silty mud with isolated darker patches. Lower irregular contact.

103/108-113 cm: grayish brown (2.5Y 5/2) mud with sparse sub-mm pebbles. Lower sharp contact.

113-126 cm: light olive gray (2.5Y 5/4) silty mud to sandy silt with black mm-thick pebbles and sparse olive brown (2.5Y 4/3) patches.

126-144 cm: light olive gray (2.5Y 5/4) silty mud to sandy silt with sparse sub-cm to cm-thick pebbles. At 134cm and 139-140 cm pluri-cm pebbles. A mud chips at 143-144 cm.

144.5-149.5 cm: light olive gray (2.5Y 5/4) clayey mud with dark olive brown (2.5Y 3/3) sandy patches.

149.5-157 cm: wet layer characterized by 2 normal graded bedding (medium sand to medium-fine sand). Different layers are recognizable on the basis of color change. Contact between levels is sharp.

    149.5-152 cm: dark olive brown (2.5Y 3/3)

    152-152.5 cm:  black (2.5Y  2.5/1)

    152.5-153.5cm: dark red (10R 3/6)

    153.5-154 cm: dark olive brown (2.5Y 3/3)

    154-154.5 cm: black (2.5Y 2.5/1)

    154.5-155 cm: dark red (10R 3/6)

    155-155.5/156 cm: dark olive brown (2.5Y 3/3)

155.5/156-156.5 cm: light olive gray (2.5Y 5/4) sandy silt

156.5-157 cm: dark olive brown (2.5Y 3/3) medium-grained sand. Lower sharp contact.

157-158 cm: light olive gray (2.5Y 5/3) mud. Lower sharp and irregular contact.

158-164 cm: wet light olive gray (2.5Y 5/3) sandy layer normal grading. Lower sharp and irregular contact.

164-226 cm: light olive gray (2.5Y 5/3) silty mud with pebble content increasing from 194 to 220 cm. The gravel content decreases from 220 to 226 cm.

226-240.5 cm: light olive gray (2.5Y 5/3) silty mud with light olive gray (2.5Y 5/6) sandy spots. Lower color sharp contact.

240.5-272 cm: very compact dark gray (Gley 1 4/N) silty mud with elongates, irregular sandy patches (burrows?) (243-246 cm;  241-251cm ; 255-2257cm ;  261-264 cm).  Sandy horizon mm-thick at 260.5 cm. Lower sharp contact.

272-275 cm: sandy level. 275-274 cm Gley 1 4/N (dark gray) , 274-272 cm (Gley 1 5/N). Lower sharp contact

275-276/277 cm: fine-grained sandy to silty mud layer: sandy base black; silty gray mud (Gley 1 5/N). Irregular lower sharp contact: recognizable a extensional-fault at the baseof the level.
